A profile of Ian Curtis (Riley), the enigmatic singer of Joy Division whose personal, professional, and romantic troubles led him to commit suicide at the age of 23.
A bit dreary, drab however the music and the acting was good. The one thing I did like about this movie was the black and white which to me filled the movie with a realism of the obvious darkness of Ian's soul. Love and love lost along with a sickness can cripple a person. I was introduced to Ian Curtis and the Joy Division though and their music was very good. I think Ian Curtis was a fan of Jim Morrison and reminded me a loy of him. Pretty good movie.. 3.5 stars for me..
I absolutely loved this film! What a great movie! A must see for the mature audience.
Good actors, amazing acting, interessting story line (based on the true story!). I liked it alot. Good music as well.

a good accurate depiction of a musical legend. If u have never heard of joy division, new order, or are unfamiliar with the whole factory records scene you may find this a bit dull though.
based on Deborahs book..romanitcized I guess for a movie audience..i wonder how much is true..need to read the book i guess. love joy division and always will.
Due a large amount of 'bad reports' related to new, especially 'now showing in theaters' blockbusters movies
I wish to notice that movie files have a very short lifetime (from hour to day) before they will be deleted.
